This is the year of the Singer/Songwriter and Jim Major proves it by putting his songs together with the band Dan-O. Looking no further than the small village of Waikoloa on the Big Island of Hawaii where they all live, Dan-O was born – with Jim Major on vocals / rythm guitar, Eric Wakely on lead guitar, Jim Tsuji on drums and Mike Funes on bass. After scoring a local hit "Eddie Would Go" on the Big Island’s #1 rock station K-Hawaii 101.5 and Kapa 99.1 FM, the band went into the studio to record a full CD at Sea West studios. They worked with veteran studio wiz Rick Asher Keefer, who has recorded Crosby, Stills & Nash, Marvin Gaye, AC/DC, and Heart, along with dozens of Hawaiian artists. Dan-O's CD was recorded in three days.
